Travel Med Surg RN in Mason City, IA

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care for orthopedic and medical-surgical patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Mason City, Iowa. The unit supports adult patients with post-op and general medical needs.

• Assess patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Provide routine medical-surgical and orthopedic nursing care
• Administer medications and monitor treatment effects
• Support mobility, recovery, and pain management
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
