Travel Med Surg RN in Waterloo, IA

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care on a general med surg unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Waterloo, Iowa.

• Assess adult med surg patients and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and support ordered treatments safely
• Coordinate care with physicians and the interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on discharge instructions
• Support admissions, transfers, and discharges

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
• Strong assessment, communication, documentation, and teamwork skills
