Travel Med Surg RN in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide adult neurology and medical-surgical care in a 23-bed inpatient unit in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. Private rooms, continuous epilepsy monitoring, and support for stroke, seizure, and spine patients are key features; first-time travelers are welcome.

• Deliver bedside care for adult neurology, stroke, and epilepsy patients
• Assess and trend neurologic and medical status
• Administer oxygen and manage non-invasive airway support
• Maintain peripheral lines and related IV care
• Collaborate with rapid response and code teams
• Assist with pre- and post-neurosurgery care

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical experience
• Charting system experience
• Experience with adult neurology, stroke, or epilepsy patients

• ACLS certification
• NIHSS certification or experience
• Pre- and post-neurosurgery experience
