Travel Med Surg RN in Florence, SC

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics on a renal med-surg unit in an acute care hospital in Florence, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. The unit averages 36 patients and uses Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and monitor adult and geriatric medical-surgical patients
• Provide renal-focused nursing care and support recovery
• Administer oxygen therapy and manage nasal cannula care
• Manage feeding tubes, peripheral lines, and isolation precautions
• Document assessments, treatments, and responses in Epic
• Collaborate with support services and rapid response resources

• South Carolina or Compact Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• BLS certification
• 1 year of Med Surg experience
• Feeding tube care and management
• Peripheral line care and management
• Oxygen administration and nasal cannula care

• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Rapid Response and Code team experience
