Travel Med Surg RN in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide complex inpatient care in a hospital in Charleston, South Carolina on a 13-week contract. It serves adult gastrointestinal and medical-surgical patients and uses EPIC in a teaching, Magnet, Level I trauma hospital. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and monitor adult medical-surgical and gastrointestinal patients
• Administer oxygen therapy and support non-invasive airway management
• Manage peripheral lines and maintain IV access care
• Support rapid response and code team interventions
• Document assessments, treatments and responses in EPIC
• Collaborate with the care team on complex inpatient plans

• Registered Nurse license in South Carolina or compact state
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical experience
• EPIC charting experience
• Isolation precautions and PPE use
• Oxygen administration, nasal cannula and non-invasive airway management skills

• IV start and maintenance skills
