Travel Med Surg RN in South Carolina

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide adult care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Charleston, South Carolina. First-time travelers are welcome, and the unit uses EPIC in a Level I Trauma Center, teaching, Magnet hospital with rapid response support.

• Assess and monitor adult medical surgical patients
• Administer oxygen therapy and support non-invasive airway care
• Maintain peripheral lines and assist with IV therapy
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE standards
• Support rapid response and code team activity
• Document care and coordinate with the care team in EPIC

• Current South Carolina or multistate/compact Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• 2 years of medical surgical Registered Nurse experience
• Experience with isolation precautions and PPE
• Skills in oxygen administration, nasal cannula, and non-invasive airway management
• Peripheral line care and rapid response/code team support
