Travel Med Surg RN in Camden, SC

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Camden, South Carolina. The 54-bed unit serves general med/surg and Covid patients, uses Epic, and works at a 1:6 ratio. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Assess and document adult and geriatric med/surg patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Start and maintain peripheral IV access
• Monitor telemetry and note rhythm changes
• Support care for Covid patients and isolation precautions
• Manage blood products, enteral tubes, and routine med/surg needs

• South Carolina or compact Registered Nurse license in hand before start
• BLS and ACLS
• 2+ years of medical surgical experience
• IV start and maintenance skills
• Telemetry and dysrhythmia interpretation experience

• Telemetry and cardiac drip management experience
• Central line blood draws and PICC care
• Chest tubes, surgical drains, and wound vac care
