Travel Med Surg RN in Saint Johnsbury, VT

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will coordinate adult medical-surgical care in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Saint Johnsbury, Vermont. The unit serves mainly adults with occasional pediatric patients and supports medical, surgical, outpatient, observation, swing bed, and pediatric care. The rural setting includes access to outdoor recreation.

• Assess and coordinate care for adult and occasional pediatric patients
• Plan and deliver medical-surgical nursing interventions
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments
• Collaborate with the care team across inpatient and outpatient needs
• Document care and communicate updates using the nursing process

• Current Vermont Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• 3 years of acute care experience

• Meditech experience
