Travel Med Surg RN in Portsmouth, NH

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portsmouth, New Hampshire. The 36-bed medical unit typically staffs 1:6, with occasional 1:7 surges. Meditech Expanse is used for documentation, and telemetry monitoring is routine.

• Provide medical-surgical nursing care
• Monitor telemetry and report rhythm changes
• Assist with CBI, wound care, and drain management
• Assist with foley insertion and central line dressing changes
• Complete EKGs and other ordered bedside tasks
• Document care in Meditech Expanse
• Use bedside shift report and hourly safety rounding

• Active New Hampshire Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• IV certification
• 2 years of hospital experience
• Medical-surgical experience
