A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adult patients on a med surg unit in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. The unit has 20 to 34 beds with a typical 1:6 ratio.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient status and monitor for changes
- Administer medications and support treatments
- Collaborate with the care team on daily plans
- Document assessments, interventions, and responses
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Support admissions, discharges, and transfers
Qualifications
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications through AHA
- NIHSS certification
