Travel Med Surg RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse will care for neurovascular patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit uses Epic, works with 1:4 ratios, and welcomes first-time travelers. Proficient neuro skills are central to the role.

• Provide neurovascular and med-surg care for patients with stroke and brain or spinal conditions
• Complete focused neuro assessments and monitor for changes in condition
• Administer medications, IV care, and isolation precautions as ordered
• Assist with pre- and post-neurosurgery care
• Support non-invasive airway management and respond to rapid response or code situations
• Document care in Epic and coordinate with the care team

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• NIHSS certification
• 2 years of recent neuro experience
• Proficient neuro nursing skills
• Epic charting experience
