Travel Med Surg RN in Medford, OR

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide discharge-focused care in a short-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Medford, Oregon. The unit serves adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, including medical and pre- and post-surgical patients, with Epic charting and a 35-bed unit. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Coordinate discharge planning and complete discharge tasks
• Assess and care for adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics on a med-surg unit
• Manage ports, chest tubes, surgical drains, and peripheral lines
• Administer and monitor heparin infusions, epidurals, PCA, and CBI
• Maintain isolation precautions and safe oxygen and airway support
• Collaborate with rapid response and interdisciplinary support teams

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Experience with ports, chest tubes, CBI, heparin, epidurals, and PCA care

• Telemetry experience
