Travel Med Surg RN in Medford, OR

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will support inpatient medical-surgical care in a hospital in Medford, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit serves adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, with 1:4 to 1:5 ratios, Epic charting, and a discharge-focused workflow for medical and post-surgical patients.

• Provide discharge-focused medical-surgical nursing care
• Assess and monitor adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Manage ports, chest tubes, epidurals, and PCA therapy
• Maintain bladder irrigation, heparin infusions, and peripheral lines
• Support oxygen therapy, airway support, and isolation precautions
• Coordinate with rapid response teams and interdisciplinary services

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical experience
• Epic charting system experience
• Port access and management, chest tubes, surgical drains, epidurals, PCA therapy
• Continuous bladder irrigation, heparin infusions, peripheral line care
• Oxygen administration, nasal cannula support, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions
