Travel Med Surg RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide bedside care in a medical surgical unit in a short term acute care hospital in Portland, Oregon on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Epic, with 1:4 ratios, and first-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor medical surgical patients and report changes in condition
• Administer oxygen therapy and support nasal cannula use
• Care for peripheral lines and maintain line safety
• Support rapid response and code team activities
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE practices
• Assist with noninvasive airway support

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS
• 1 year of medical surgical experience
• Rapid response and code team support
• Peripheral line care and management
• Oxygen administration, oxygen tanks, nasal cannula, noninvasive airway management, isolation precautions, PPE, and electronic charting system experience
