Travel Med Surg RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics on a med surg unit in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit has 40 beds, a 1:4 ratio, Epic charting, and a teaching setting.

• Monitor adult and geriatric patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Manage telemetry and blood products
• Provide tracheostomy, ostomy, tube, and drain care
• Support oxygen therapy, suctioning, and airway management
• Collaborate with the care team and rapid response resources

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical surgical experience
• Adult and geriatric med surg skills
• Any charting system experience

• IV insulin protocols
• IV start and maintenance
• PCA experience
• Wound care and wound vac experience
