Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical Surgical Neuro Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a neuro med/surg unit in Nashville, Tennessee for a 13-week contract. The unit has 20 beds, a 6:1 ratio, Meditech charting, and comprehensive stroke and Level II trauma designations.

• Provide direct care to medical-surgical and neuro patients
• Monitor telemetry and continuous pulse oximetry
• Start IVs and manage feeding tubes, nasogastric tubes, and chest tubes
• Perform basic wound care and maintain surgical drains
• Assess, prioritize, and respond to changing patient needs
• Document care and communicate through bedside handoff

• Active Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Medical-surgical nursing experience
• IV start, wound care, and drain management skills
• Experience with nasogastric tubes and chest tubes
