Travel Med Surg RN in Nashville, TN

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Nashville, Tennessee. The 36-bed unit uses Meditech and serves adults needing wound, tracheostomy, ostomy, drain, chest tube, stroke, seizure, and post-op care.

• Perform basic patient assessments and ongoing nursing care
• Monitor wounds, tracheostomies, ostomies, drains, and chest tubes
• Support care for strokes, seizures, dialysis needs, and post-op patients
• Administer and monitor heparin infusions per unit practice
• Document care in Meditech and maintain accurate charting
• Provide bedside handoff, safety checks, and fall prevention measures

• Active Registered Nurse license in Tennessee
• BLS and NIHSS certifications
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
