A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will assess, implement, and monitor care for observation patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Midland, Michigan. The unit serves outpatients in observation status and focuses on medication administration, treatments, transfers, and alarm response.

• Assess patients and monitor changes in condition
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Respond to call lights and patient alarms
• Process provider orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Update care plans with the care team
• Follow up on medication changes and order clarifications

• Active Michigan Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification through AHA
