Travel Med Surg RN in Little Rock, AR

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct care on a medical-surgical unit in an acute care hospital on a 12-week contract in Little Rock, Arkansas. The unit serves surgical and medical patients, uses a 1:6 ratio, and is transitioning to EPIC charting.

• Provide direct care for medical-surgical patients with varied surgical and medical conditions
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Assist with total care, oxygen support, and peripheral line care
• Read occasional strip tracings and support remote monitoring
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team to meet unit needs
• Follow isolation precautions and rapid response workflows

• Active Registered Nurse license in Arkansas
• BLS certification
• 1 year of medical-surgical experience
• Large hospital experience
• Electronic charting experience
• Isolation precautions and PPE competency
