Travel Med Surg RN in Lander, WY

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct nursing care on a medical-surgical unit in Lander, Wyoming for a 13-week contract. The unit serves wide-ranging medical patients, including pre- and post-surgery cases, in an acute care hospital.

• Assess patients and coordinate individualized care with the health care team
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Record vital signs, assessments and care documentation accurately
• Monitor specialized equipment and interpret electronic displays
• Start IVs, change dressings and insert catheters
• Assist physicians during examinations and treatments
• Educate patients and families on recovery and discharge needs

• Wyoming Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and PALS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
