Travel Med Surg RN in Lander, WY

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide direct and individualized nursing care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Lander, Wyoming. The role cares for medical and post-surgical patients, documents vital signs and treatments, and supports care with electronic monitoring and patient education.

• Assess patient needs and coordinate care with the health care team
• Administer medications and monitor for adverse reactions
• Record vital signs, treatments and clinical information
• Provide bedside care for medical and post-surgical patients
• Start IVs, change dressings and insert catheters
• Support discharge planning, patient education and life-saving response

• Current Wyoming Registered Nurse license or multistate Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS and PALS through the American Heart Association
