Travel Med Surg RN in Idaho Falls, ID

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Idaho Falls, Idaho. The unit uses Meditech and supports med-surg patients with 1:5 day and 1:6 night ratios. Bedside equipment includes IV pumps, medication dispensing systems, lifts, and computers.

• Assess and monitor med-surg patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies safely
• Document care and patient responses in Meditech
• Coordinate care with the nursing team
• Maintain medication scanning accuracy and safety
• Support admissions, discharges, and patient education
• Use bedside equipment and mobility aids appropriately

• Idaho Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Strong communication skills
• Time management skills
• Medication administration safety and scanning accuracy
