Travel Med Surg RN in Denver, CO

A Travel Medical Surgical Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care in an acute care hospital med/surg/onc unit on a 13 week contract in Denver, Colorado. The unit uses remote telemetry and Meditech charting, with medical, oncology, and postoperative patients. Care is provided at approximately 1:6 ratios.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Support postoperative care for cholecystectomy and appendectomy patients
• Coordinate care with physicians and the care team
• Document patient status and interventions in Meditech
• Respond to changes in condition and escalate concerns

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of current hospital acute care Med Surg experience
• BLS certification

• Mom and baby experience with NRP
• Surgical and medical experience
• Excellent customer service skills
