Travel Med Surg RN in Thornton, CO

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in an acute care hospital for a 13-week contract in Thornton, Colorado. The 26-bed unit uses Meditech, typically staffs 6:1 ratios, and cares for medical and post-op patients with IV pumps and SCD machines.

• Monitor medical-surgical patients and report condition changes
• Administer medications and manage ordered heparin drips
• Assist with post-op radial cardiac cath recovery
• Document assessments, interventions, and responses in Meditech
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and PCTs to support daily care
• Promote patient safety, mobility, and discharge teaching

• Current Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg acute care hospital experience
• BLS certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program
