Travel Med Surg RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for adult oncology patients on a med/surg unit in a hospital in Englewood, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The unit has 13 beds, typical ratios of 5:1 or 4:1, and Meditech / CPN charting.

• Assess adult oncology patients and update care plans
• Administer medications and support chemotherapy care per unit policy
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and response to treatment
• Collaborate with the charge nurse and care team on priorities
• Document patient status and nursing care in the charting system
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Oncology hospital Registered Nurse experience

• ACLS certification
• Chemotherapy certification
• Meditech / CPN charting experience
