Travel Med Surg RN in Englewood, CO

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide care on a med/surg oncology unit in Englewood, Colorado on a 13-week contract. The 13-bed unit uses Meditech and CPN and typically staffs 1 charge nurse and 3 RNs on each shift with ratios around 5:1.

• Deliver direct nursing care to med/surg oncology patients
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Administer chemotherapy and support related treatment plans
• Coordinate care with the charge nurse and interdisciplinary team
• Document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in the charting system
• Promote compassionate, patient-centered care and safety

• Active Colorado Registered Nurse license
• Minimum 1-year current Med Surg Oncology hospital Registered Nurse experience
• BLS certification

• ACLS
• Chemotherapy Certification
• Prior Meditech experience
