A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will care for medical and surgical patients in a critical access hospital on a 13-week contract in Centerville, Iowa. The assignment is in the medical/surgical unit.

• Assess patients and update plans of care
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Monitor changes in condition and report concerns promptly
• Coordinate care with the interprofessional team
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the chart
• Support discharge planning and patient education

• Iowa Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification
