Travel Med Surg RN in Arlington, TX

A Travel Med Surg Registered Nurse will provide inpatient care on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Texas. The unit has 29 beds, uses Meditech, and serves acute care patients with general medicine, orthopedics, and neuro med-surg needs.

• Assess and monitor medical-surgical patients
• Plan and deliver nursing care for acute care needs
• Administer medications and ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with charge nurse, LVNs, and support staff
• Assist with abdominal fluid removal and central line placement
• Document patient care in Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS certification
• Acute care clinical skills
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Neuro med-surg experience
• General medicine experience
• Orthopedic experience
