Travel Med Surg RN in Arlington, TX

A Travel Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse will provide care for post-surgical and acute care patients in a hospital unit on a 13-week contract in Arlington, Texas. The 30-bed unit uses Meditech and typically serves patients with 1:6 ratios.

• Provide nursing care for medical-surgical and acute care patients
• Monitor post-surgical recovery and report changes in condition
• Administer and evaluate pain management interventions
• Support CIWA monitoring and response
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and bladder scanning
• Work with charge nurses, PCTs, and sitters to maintain safe care

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Basic Life Support certification
• Acute care or medical-surgical experience

• Experience in a comparable hospital medical-surgical setting
