Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Weatherford, TX

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will care for postpartum mothers and newborns, support deliveries, and provide unit-based nursing care in a hospital on a 13-week contract in Weatherford, Texas. The unit has 10 beds, uses CPN and Meditech charting, and works with 1:3 couplet ratios.

• Support cesarean and vaginal deliveries
• Provide postpartum care for mother-baby couplets
• Perform newborn and maternal assessments
• Monitor recovery needs and report changes in condition
• Assist with circumcision care
• Document care in CPN and Meditech

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• NRP certification
• 2+ years of labor and delivery and postpartum experience
• Experience catching babies during deliveries
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program

• Cesarean and vaginal delivery support
• Routine postpartum care
• Circumcision care
