Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Irving, TX

A Travel Maternal Newborn Registered Nurse will care for high-risk antepartum patients, postpartum recoveries, and newborns in a hospital in Irving, Texas on a 13-week contract. The unit focuses on postpartum and newborn nursery care, with Meditech charting and IV placement support.

• Assess antepartum, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Support recovery care after delivery
• Provide newborn nursery care
• Perform IV placement and maintain access
• Administer ordered medications and treatments
• Document care in Meditech
• Collaborate with the obstetric and nursery team

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• NRP and BLS certification
• 2+ years of hospital experience
• High-risk antepartum and postpartum care experience
• Newborn nursery experience

• Meditech experience
• Advanced fetal monitoring experience
• RNC-OB certification
