A Per Diem Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide postpartum and couplet care in an acute care hospital in Tarzana, California. It serves adults and infants in a 24-bed unit with an average daily census of 13 and Epic charting.

• Assess postpartum mothers and newborns
• Monitor recovery after vaginal and cesarean delivery
• Teach parents infant care, feeding, and discharge steps
• Support breastfeeding, thermoregulation, and newborn safety
• Manage pain, phototherapy, and hypoglycemia care
• Document care and updates in Epic

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• LA Fire Card
• 1 year recent postpartum nursing experience
• Epic charting experience
• Community hospital experience
