Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Lonetree, CO

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide care for mothers and newborns in a hospital mother-baby unit on a 13-week contract in Lone Tree, Colorado. The unit has 26 beds with typical ratios of 1:3 to 1:4 and uses Meditech and CPN. The role supports newborn education and patient-centered family teaching in a caring setting.

• Provide postpartum and newborn assessments
• Monitor maternal and infant recovery
• Educate parents on newborn safety, feeding, and health
• Assist with circumcision care and newborn procedures
• Document care in Meditech and CPN
• Collaborate with charge RN and lactation support

• Colorado Registered Nurse license
• 1 year of current Mother/Baby hospital experience
• BLS certification
• NRP certification
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program

• Lactation support experience
• Transition of care experience
