Travel Maternal-Newborn RN in Salem, VA

A Travel Maternal-Newborn Registered Nurse will provide care for mothers, newborns, and couplets in a hospital in Salem, Virginia on a 13-week contract. The unit uses Centricity Perinatal and Meditech charting and cares for laboring, postpartum, and nursery patients.

• Provide labor and postpartum care for mothers, newborns, and couplets
• Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and maternal condition
• Assist with cesarean sections, inductions, and OBED triage
• Support newborn care and routine postpartum recovery
• Respond to birth events and collaborate with the care team
• Document care in Centricity Perinatal and Meditech

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN
• OB experience
• Maternal-newborn clinical experience

• Cesarean section circulator, first assist, or scrub experience
