Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Chattanooga, TN

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide care for chronic patients in a long-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Chattanooga, Tennessee. The unit includes telemetry care, ventilator and tracheostomy support, and central line management.

• Assess patient status and respond to changes in condition
• Monitor telemetry and support respiratory care needs
• Manage central lines and assist with wound care
• Administer medications and carry out ordered treatments
• Coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team
• Document care and patient responses accurately
• Provide direction to assigned personnel

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license or multistate compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS and BLS certifications through the American Heart Association
• Ventilator and tracheostomy experience
• Knowledge of central lines
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program
