Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Travelers Rest, SC

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide care in an LTAC MS/Tele unit during a 13-week contract in Travelers Rest, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with an average daily census of 15 and uses Epic charting. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor telemetry and assess rhythm changes
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products
• Perform stroke scale checks and neuro assessments
• Provide complex wound, tracheostomy, tube, and line care
• Coordinate care with therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, and other support teams
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• Active South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certification
• 1 year of experience in LTAC MS/Tele, MS, or PCU
• Epic charting experience
• Clinical skill in telemetry, dysrhythmia management, stroke assessment, IV access, central lines, wound care, tracheostomy care, and tube feedings

• LTAC experience
• Charge experience
• Teaching hospital or community hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or II experience
