Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will provide ICU-level care for adults in a long-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit serves adults and geriatrics with ventilator weaning, wound care, and tracheostomy and PEG support, and uses Epic. Neurological critical care experience is important in this setting.

• Monitor adults with ventilator weaning, tracheostomy, PEG, and wound care needs
• Assess neurological status, dysrhythmias, and respiratory changes
• Titrate IV infusions and support hemodynamic stability
• Administer medications, blood products, and insulin protocols
• Perform line, tube, and catheter care
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy and other support services
• Document care in Epic

• South Carolina Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years ICU experience
• Neurological critical care experience
• Epic charting experience

• LTAC experience
• Previous charge experience
• Teaching hospital experience
• Trauma Level I or II experience
