Travel Long Term Acute Care RN in Columbia, SC

A Travel Long Term Acute Care Registered Nurse will care for adults and geriatrics in a long-term acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Columbia, South Carolina. The unit has an average daily census of 15 and works with respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other support services.

• Monitor telemetry and interpret dysrhythmias
• Provide complex wound care
• Manage tracheostomy care and airway support
• Assess adults and geriatrics with long-term acute care needs
• Coordinate care with therapy, respiratory, pharmacy, radiology, and other support teams
• Document patient response and nursing interventions

• Active Registered Nurse license in South Carolina
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 2 years of medical-surgical telemetry experience
• Experience with dysrhythmia interpretation, dysrhythmia management, complex wound care, and tracheostomy care/management

• LTAC experience
