Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Winfield, KS

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for mothers and newborns in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Winfield, Kansas. The unit serves neonates, infants, adolescents, and adults in a critical access hospital and uses Centricity.

• Assist with triage, fetal monitoring, and assessment of labor patients
• Support vaginal deliveries, cesarean deliveries, and operative birth care
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and other obstetric assessments
• Monitor postpartum recovery, newborn transition, and mother-baby needs
• Administer IV therapies, medications, and blood products as ordered
• Provide neonatal care, breastfeeding support, and parent teaching
• Recognize changes in fetal heart patterns and maternal status

• Kansas or compact Registered Nurse license
• ACLS, BLS, and NRP
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Prior travel experience

• Centricity charting experience
• Previous charge experience
• Community hospital experience
• Cervical cerclage experience
