About this job

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide labor and newborn care in a hospital unit, support c-section recovery, and assist with immediate newborn care during a 13-week contract in Weatherford, Texas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide labor and delivery nursing care
  • Assist with c-section recovery and circulation
  • Deliver immediate newborn and golden hour care
  • Monitor maternal and newborn status
  • Support bedside shift report and patient communication
  • Document care and coordinate with the care team

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Registered Nurse license
  • BLS, NRP, and AWHONN certifications
  • 2+ years of hospital labor and delivery experience
  • Experience circulating c-sections

Preferred Skills

  • Meditech experience
  • Ability to scrub c-sections
