Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Thousand Oaks, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide labor, delivery, triage, and postpartum care in a hospital unit for a 13-week contract in Thousand Oaks, California. The unit has 9 LDRs, 4 additional beds for triage and outpatient testing, 1:1 to 1:3 ratios, and uses CPN/Meditech for charting.

• Monitor laboring patients and fetal status
• Assist with vaginal examinations and labor management
• Circulate cesarean sections and support recovery
• Provide care for high-risk antepartum patients
• Support newborn care in the first hour of life
• Perform OB triage and outpatient testing

• California Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS and NRP
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Vaginal examination competency
• Circulating cesarean section experience
• Fetal monitoring and obstetrical emergency care

• Scrub experience
• NCC certification in IP-OB or EFM
