Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Richmond, VA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit for a 13-week contract in Richmond, Virginia. The unit has 11 labor beds, 2 triage spaces and 2 operating rooms, with 1:1 laboring and 3:1 couplet ratios. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Interpret fetal monitoring and respond to changes
• Manage high-risk antepartum and active labor patients
• Circulate for cesarean deliveries and support vaginal births
• Provide postpartum and couplet care
• Assist with circumcision procedures and bilirubin light therapy
• Administer magnesium and obtain maternal and newborn blood samples

• Virginia Registered Nurse license
• Fetal Monitor Certification
• BLS
• NRP
• Experience with high-risk antepartum, active labor and postpartum care
• Experience with c-section circulation, circumcision assist and maternal-newborn blood draws
