Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Portland, OR

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for laboring and postpartum patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Portland, Oregon. The unit serves women of childbearing age and newborns, uses OBIX fetal monitoring, and charts in Epic. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and maternal recovery
• Assist with vaginal births and cesarean deliveries
• Provide antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and newborn care
• Administer medications, magnesium therapy, and IV infusions
• Perform newborn assessment, thermoregulation, and hypoglycemia screening
• Document care and respond to changes in patient condition

• Oregon Registered Nurse license
• BLS and NRP
• 2 years of recent Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse experience
• Epic charting experience

• AWHONN Intermediate
• High-risk antepartum care
• NST interpretation, amnioinfusion, and hemorrhage management
