Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Los Angeles, CA

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care for low- and high-risk patients in an acute care hospital on a 13-week contract in Los Angeles, California. The unit has 11 beds, uses Epic charting, and supports triage, labor and delivery, NICU, and postpartum care. First-time travelers are welcome.

• Monitor fetal heart patterns with external fetal monitoring
• Perform sterile vaginal exams and track labor progress
• Manage low- and high-risk labor and delivery patients
• Assist with C-section circulation and operating room support
• Support triage, postpartum, and neonatal care
• Coordinate care with OB anesthesia and neonatal teams
• Document assessments and interventions in Epic

• Current California Registered Nurse license
• 2 years of labor and delivery experience
• Recent sterile vaginal exam, high-risk labor and delivery, and advanced fetal monitoring experience
• BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Advanced

• Allscripts charting system experience
