Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Lewisville, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor and delivery unit on a 13-week contract in Lewisville, Texas. The unit has 18 beds, follows AWHONN guidelines, uses GE fetal monitoring and CPN Meditech, and manages 1:1 labor patients and 2 to 3 antepartum patients.

• Manage laboring patients and support safe progression of labor
• Assist with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections
• Circulate cesarean sections and support recovery care
• Monitor fetal status and respond to changes in patient condition
• Triage obstetric patients and support antepartum care
• Administer Pitocin and iron infusions as ordered
• Document assessments and interventions in the charting system

• Texas Registered Nurse license
• Labor management skills
• Cesarean section circulating skills
• Obstetric triage skills

• Vaginal delivery experience
• Iron infusion experience
• Antepartum care experience
