Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Irving, TX

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in an acute care hospital labor and delivery unit for a 13-week contract in Irving, Texas. The 12-bed unit uses Meditech and typically staffs 2:1. Procedures include circulating C-sections.

• Assess laboring and postpartum patients and report changes
• Monitor fetal and maternal status during labor and delivery
• Assist with admissions, triage, and preparation for delivery
• Circulate C-sections and support the operative birth team
• Administer medications and support pain management per unit practice
• Document care in Meditech and coordinate with the care team
• Lead charge nurse duties when assigned

• Active Texas Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, NRP and fetal monitoring certification
• 2+ years of Labor and Delivery experience
• Charge nurse experience

• RNC certification
• Meditech experience
