Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Fort Defiance, AZ

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for mothers and newborns in a hospital unit during a 16-week contract in Fort Defiance, Arizona. The unit includes postpartum rooms and rooming-in, with about 40 deliveries and 6 C-sections each month.

• Monitor labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn status
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean births
• Provide breastfeeding and rooming-in support
• Perform maternal and newborn assessments and interventions
• Support charge nurse duties after training when needed
• Coordinate bedside care with the care team

• Active Arizona Registered Nurse license
• 5 years recent labor and delivery, postpartum, and newborn experience
• BLS, ACLS or ALSO, NRP, AWHONN Advanced FHM, and STABLE certifications
• AWHONN Advanced FHM or RNC-EFM certification
