Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Dickson, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide care in a hospital labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum unit on a 13-week contract in Dickson, Tennessee. The unit includes 9 LDRP beds, 1 OBED bed, 4 NICU beds, and 1 OR suite, with Meditech and CPN charting. It is a collaborative unit with experienced nurses and strong preceptors.

• Assess laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor fetal status and support inductions and recoveries
• Prepare patients for C-sections and assist with operative births
• Receive and transition newborns, including initial assessment
• Support couplet care and intermediate NICU care
• Complete daily patient and safety rounding

• Current Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring training
• Labor and delivery experience with labor, recovery, newborn transition, and assessment
• Charge experience
• Experience with inductions and fetal monitoring

• Shoulder dystocia management
• Postpartum hemorrhage response
• OB emergency response
