Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Dickson, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will care for laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients in a hospital in Dickson, Tennessee on an 8-week contract. The unit uses Meditech and CPN charting and supports Level II trauma and Level II NICU care.

• Assess laboring, postpartum, and newborn patients
• Monitor fetal status and maternal response during labor and recovery
• Assist with inductions, operative births, and obstetric emergencies
• Support newborn transition, stabilization, and couplet care
• Provide care for intermediate NICU infants as needed
• Complete bedside documentation and communicate with the care team

• Current Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring training
• Labor and delivery nursing experience
• Experience receiving and transitioning newborns
• Graduation from an accredited Registered Nurse program

• Experience with shoulder dystocia
• Experience with postpartum hemorrhage
• Experience with Pitocin and cervidil inductions
