Travel Labor and Delivery RN in Dickson, TN

A Travel Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse will provide labor, delivery, recovery, and newborn care in a hospital for a 12 week contract in Dickson, Tennessee. The unit uses Meditech and CPN charting and cares for active labors, couplet care, and newborns. It is a Level II trauma and Level II NICU setting with experienced RN support.

• Monitor labor progress, fetal status, and maternal condition
• Assist with labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum care
• Support newborn assessment, stabilization, and transition after birth
• Help with inductions, C-sections, and assisted deliveries
• Respond to OB emergencies and postpartum hemorrhage situations
• Participate in rounding and safety checks
• Coordinate care with NICU staff for higher acuity newborns

• Tennessee Registered Nurse license
• BLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring training
• Charge experience
• Labor and delivery experience
• Newborn assessment and transition skills
• Maternal and newborn recovery skills

• Shoulder dystocia management
• Postpartum hemorrhage response
• Induction experience with Pitocin or cervidil
